Join us at Playmantis for a Two-Headed Giant prerelease of the latest Magic: The Gathering set: The Hobbit

Prerelease events are a casual, beginner-friendly way to explore a new set. You will receive a prerelease kit, build a deck on the night, and play in a supportive environment where questions and mistakes are welcome.

Staff will be available to help with deck building, rules, and pacing.

What is 2-headed Giant?

In Two-Headed Giant, each two-player teams shares a starting 30 life and takes their turn simultaneously. The team does not share any other resources other than life. For instance, any reference to "you" on a card still applies to the individual holder.

Registration: 11:30am
Deck Building Start: 12pm
Swiss Pairing Start: 1pm

Expect to play 3x 50m rounds.
